Presentation
The HAPO FRONT was designed to relieve shoulders and elbows in order to reduce the risk of Musculo-Skeletal Disorders (TMS). In this sense, the HAPO FRONT is a particularly suitable solution for any work having the repetitive manipulation of objects, the prolonged maintenance of arms in front of oneself or all the postures “arm forward” impacting the members of the upper body.
For who?
Many workers are regularly forced to adopt risk postures that can cause joint degradation of elbows and shoulders.
The HAPO FRONT can be particularly adapted to prevent the health of workers in many sectors and professions (non-exhaustive lists)
Industry | distribution and shops | health | food industry | sort | picking
How?
The HAPO FRONT is a reasoned solution combining continuous efficiency and freedom of movement, which allows the user to continue performing tasks that do not require mechanical assistance without being embarrassed by the exoskeleton.
The assistance of HAPO FRONT is obtained through composite spring rods that support the weight of the worker’s arms. Depending on the task, morphology and worker preferences, it is possible to choose between two levels of assistance.
Laboratory tests have shown that the HAPO FRONT integrating the blue springs reduces the load of the muscles about -15% for the shoulder and about -30% for the arm for tasks representative of the use of the exoskeleton (static hold and dynamic movement).
Characteristics
Assists the upper limbs: relief of the shoulders and elbows by the double interface.
Amplitude of movements with assistance: up to 135° in height and up to 180° horizontally.
2 support levels: up to 4 kg (blue springs) or 6 kg (yellow springs) of overall support for the exoskeleton.
Single size: HAPO FRONT harness and arm are adjustable to user morphologies.
Mass: 1.3 kg
Start time: 50 seconds
Time to remove it: 40 seconds
Modularity: HAPO FRONT belt and harness are similar to HAPO UP. It is therefore possible to switch from one exoskeleton model to another by replacing the FRONT modules with the UP modules and adding the booster strap on the harness.
